Come discover, learn and celebrate the unique history of the Delta and Cardiff areas of Pennsylvania. There will be displays, demonstrations, vendors and more. In addition to the celebrations, there will be a 5k walk/run that morning that benefits Shadow Cats TNR! A $10 donation is being asked of all participants in the 5k. Please bring a non-perishable food, personal care or household item for admission. Items will be donated to Mason-Dixon Locker/Neighbors Feeding Neighbors.
Cute Cat Photo Contest
We are hosting a Cute Cat Photo Contest to help us raise money for our organization. The photos will be presented at the event for voting. We will be selling raffle tickets for folks to cast their votes. The photo with the most votes will win the contest. Contest winner will receive gift cards from The Mill at Whiteford, Baker Creek Heirloom Seeds Company…plus bragging rights and the great feeling of supporting us in the area!
We are asking for a $5 donation per picture in order to enter this contest. Of all entries, a total of 20 pictures will be selected by SCTNR volunteers to move on to the final round of voting. Simply send an email to us at media@shadowcatstnr.org saying you’d like to enter. Donations will need to be made via Facebook as they don’t take out any fees. Once your donation is confirmed you will be sent a link to upload your photo.
To enter the photo contest you must meet the following requirements:
You must reach out to us via email PRIOR to making your donation to enter the contest.
Photo must be of a cat(s). No other animals, no humans, no kids, no graphics or text.
Photo must be high quality as they will be printed for display at the event for voting. (Preferably 2:3 aspect ratio for display purposes)
Deadline to submit photos is September 30th.
Voting will take place at the Delta & Cardiff Heritage Festival the day of the event. We will have the top 20 photos on display at the event. During the event, the public will have a chance to cast their votes to help pick the winner! We will be asking for donations to cast a vote. It will be $1 for one vote, $5 for 6 votes, $10 for fifteen votes. So, if you want to increase the chances of your photo winning, come join us at the festival and vote!
