2025 PURRfect Partners and SupportersWe’d like to thank the following PURRfect partners for their support: Last year, we showed our first Good Morning, Maryland spotlight on WMAR-TV! Check for our shout-outs monthly with Kristy Breslin and the morning team on Channel 2! 91.1 WHFC at Harford Community College, and our friend, DJ Matt Terry supports us by advertising our mission and events! On his personal time, Matt even does some of the voice overs on our Good Morning Maryland shout outs! Thanks to Klein’s Shop Rite at the Festival in Bel Air, we received a $1500 donation at their grand reopening event in September! We appreciate the generosity of the Klein family and were so honored to accept their donation and support! They care about the community! The Mill of Whiteford, Abingdon PetSmart and Aberdeen Pet Supplies Plus support our adoption efforts by boarding some of our adoptable cats. The cats get to stay in comfortable environments where they are attended to by SCTNR volunteers daily while they are “showcased” for adoption. Dr. Magnifico and staff at the Jarrettsville Vet Center support a TNR clinic staffed by all volunteers. Dr. Amy Hubbard and Dr. Thompson led the effort to spay/neuter over 20 cats in one afternoon. Caretakers and cats are thankful to all who helped out - real teamwork works miracles! Dr. Chaudry at The Animal Medical Center in Bel Air, and Dr. Mindy Carletti at The All Paws Animal Wellness Center in Perryville support us year-round for spay/neuter and other medical needs. We rely on their expertise and support to fulfil our mission. The Newcomers of Harford County made a sizable donation of food and supplies to us last summer. We’re so thankful to have Ann Reier, Chairperson of “community Sprit” and all of the kind members of the Newcomers Club as neighbors! We were the grateful recipients of a huge box of donations and bags of food from Scarlet K9 Dog Training from their Holiday Donation Drive. We appreciate their generosity! Harford’s Heart magazine featured SCTNR in their spring edition in the Dolce’s Desk Guest Columnist segment where one of our volunteers wrote an article about how TNR works and how we help the community. Thank for helping us get the word out about what we do! We partnered with the Harford County Public Library and are now part of their Choose Civility program. Choose Civility is a movement that promotes civility and kindness in communities, emphasizing the principles of respect, empathy, and consideration. Clare Davis, collected SCTNR donations for her 11th birthday party last year instead of gifts. What a selfless act of kindness! We are thankful for her generosity towards the kitties of Shadow Cats TNR! Claire Givens at Fuzzybutts Mobile Pet Grooming donates her time, free of charge, to clip our cats’ nails! For low-cost mobile services for your pet’s grooming needs, TEXT Claire at 443-655-7294. Girl Scout Troop #2334 are earning their Bronze Award by partnering with Shadow Cats TNR throughout the school year to make outdoor cat shelters, create a donation bin, raise funds for traps, and be our ambassadors at our Spring Fundraiser event!
